Movies

I’m drawn to eerie and unsettling stories, whether through psychological horror, grotesque imagery, or existential dread. I appreciate narratives that explore fear in unconventional ways—whether cosmic horror, gothic fiction, or deeply introspective psychological thrillers. My interest extends to dark fantasy and surreal horror, where the lines between reality and nightmare blur.

I enjoy Japanese cinema, silent films from the 1920s, and period films from the '60s to the '80s. I have a soft spot for nostalgic 2000s movies, especially those with a distinct aesthetic or unconventional storytelling. Directors like Tim Burton, Wong Kar-wai, and Wes Anderson are among my favorites, as well as classic Disney films that carry a sense of nostalgia and whimsical escapism.

Television

Books

I enjoy horror in all its forms—psychological, cosmic, gothic. Anything unsettling, eerie, or deeply introspective draws me in. Writers like H.P. Lovecraft, Simone de Beauvoir, Annie Ernaux, and Virginia Woolf captivate me with their explorations of identity, time, and the unknown.

Japanese horror is another favorite. Koji Suzuki, Yukito Ayatsuji, Hideaki Sena, and Yusuke Kishi blend psychological terror with folklore in a way that feels distinct. Junji Ito and Kazuo Umezu’s manga are essential.

Beyond fiction, I have a deep interest in fashion, especially 90s and 2000s Japanese streetwear and its connection to urban subcultures. I like looking through old magazines like POPEYE and books that document street style, underground scenes, and the evolution of alternative fashion.

sex's Blurbs

About me:

Who I'd like to meet:

People who don’t just exist, but actually get things. The ones who see beauty in the unsettling, who appreciate the feeling of a song hitting at the right time, or who get lost in stories that aren’t just surface-level. Creatives, overthinkers, night owls, people with an eye for aesthetics and a brain that never shuts up.

If you overanalyze movies, make random playlists at 3 AM, or just know how to enjoy your own company, we’ll probably get along.
