About me:
Ras Bolding is a Danish artist from Odense. Musically he roams a no man's land somewhere in between synth, electronica, goth, punk and 8 bit computer games, occasionally also incorporating elements of compositional, folk and pop music. He has performed with a large number of musicians, playing clubs and festivals, museums and art galleries, conventions, circus shows and SM parties and so much more. He is the founder of alternative culture and music club, Klub Golem, and has written for Danish music mag, Gaffa.

Warm Fuzzy Flashbacks to an internet world far less absurdly intrusive Bigtech! Was on MySpace back in the day so thought I'd give this a chance. Fairly new on here still. But yes, the big tech companies have not proved absolutely good for social media. William Gibson was right in many ways. ;) by Ras Bolding; ; Report William Gibson was so absolutely right... when first read Neromancer his description of the city sprawl seemed way far fetched.. now it is so dead on... you ever see the video of him talking about starting the book on an Apple IIe yet the floppy drive sound made him think it was going to blow up so he stopped using computer? by Occultronics; ; Report Yes, I've met him on a few occassions, actually, when he was here in Denmark promoting various books of his. I remember the first time he went to Fantask, a legendary Danish comics and roleplay shop, a pretty small place, but exactly the kind of place you'd like to see him. by Ras Bolding; ; Report have some newer hardback books of his that haven't read yet... should maybe actually dive into one somewhat soon... internet has really killed my motivation for reading books... and that's actually pathetic... by Occultronics; ; Report Have you read SnowCrash? by Occultronics; ; Report I think with the Corona situation there's extra time for reading.
