i looove collecting books. there is nothing that brings me more pleasure than finding a good secondhand book. as i'm writing i have three bookshelves utterly PACKED, and a couple more in another room. i should go through them, but that's like asking a mother to give away her children. i'm currently rereading stone butch blues, as well as frankenstein! my goal is to finish at least one book a week, and i'm currently making good on that! i like gothic literature (though, that's fairly obvious) as well as a lot of nonfiction. my favourite author is terry pratchett! my dad was a superfan of him and got me into his books when i was probably too young. my favourite book at the moment is goodbye to berlin (christopher isherwood). currently trying to hunt down a copy of secret historian (a biography of samuel steward) for a reasonable price! another on my wishlist is drag king dreams, but thats moreso a thing of me not having money X-)
