BIO:
8GB was an audiovisual set developed in 2004 as a natural flow of Akira's activities both visual and musical, and his fixation with old computer hardware utilized in modern working environments. It aimed towards creating danceable beats with old computer data, making a blend that could be enjoyed by most any audience interested in fresh new sounds, while still retaining appeal for the bleep-obsessed nut. But he failed. Terrbly.
Electro, breakbeat and techno usually flirted with drum&bass; and hip-hop (?), on energetic livesets that included a powerful stage energy (ie made a fool of himself while intoxicated) and a double experience coupled to the super synchronized live visuals (that rarely worked properly).

Starting in Argentina and intending to gain world audiovisual domination while hidden beneath a secret identity as 8-Bit Security Agent, Akira stopped recruiting followers to their 8-Bit World Order in the year of the lord 2014, when it was evident their numbers were counted with the fingers of one hand.

8GB has performed in the most varied situations, from the best microparties like Microdisko Stockholm or Pulsewave NYC, to the top of the commercial electronic music circuit in events like Creamfields Buenos Aires, South American Music Conference and Onedotzero, passing through the world renowned Blip Festival in New York City and Tokyo, Eindbaas, Square Sounds Melbourne and many other events around the world.

Currently not editing shit, coz it's a dead project, 8GB somehow managed to put tracks on labels like 8bitpeoples, Intikrec, Shanshui, Cock Rock Disco and ZZK Records, bombing each and every single time. Best to forget the horribly released EP on the german Retinascan, though.
