Melinda Mulinix's Interests

General	I really enjoy so many things. I like to describe myself as having culture because there is just a vast array of things I enjoy. Most of all I really want to be happy. I definitely value materialistic things in my home, but I enjoy them the most when I know I have bought them myself through hardwork.
Music	My music is very colorful and diverse in flavor. I can jam to rock and chill to motown. My favorite singer would be Mary J Blige. My favorite band is Offspring. I enjoy music very much.
Movies	I am a movie fanatic. I own upwards of 500 hundred movies. Some are as old as coming from the 70s and as new as coming from today. I really enjoy watching sci fi and action adventure movies. I am a Star Wars fan.
Television	I grew up watching X-files, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, that 70s show, and Boy Meets World. Today I enjoy watching shows like Wynonna Earp, Hell on Wheels, Game of Thrones, and shows like Chicago Fire and 9-1-1.
Books	I read a lot of books. I have bookshelves packed out with books. I have been a big reader all my life. I love to treat myself to books. At the moment I am even writing a novel. I am halfway through it and its a western.
Heroes	Who doesn't like superheroes? A real hero to me is our military and our first responders. They put their life on the line for all of us. Despite the bad ones who have thrown so much shade that we need to remember that most of our first responders are not like them. Without our first responders there would never be safety or peace amongst us.

About me:

I am a graphic web designer. I don't do that professionally though. I am a floor manager at Restaurant Depot in Homewood Alabama. I am originally from South Florida or Fort Lauderdale to be exact. I am oldest out of two. I have a younger brother. I love to have deep conversations. I can have light conversations but I am a deep thinker and I am extremely educated. I like to talk about everything at a more intellectual level. I do not enjoy talking bad about folks. I would rather lift them up instead of tearing them down. I am a Taurus. If you knew me personally I am your typical bull, but I have a lot more to offer people. I can be considered an introvert most of the time, but when I am really comfortable with someone it can switch to being outspoken. My family and I are not very close. I have been alone in my life since I left at 18 only dating people in short stints of time. I can be guarded and standoffish at times. My backstory would show you I am a survivor. I like to help people because of my empathic nature. I am a truly caring individual. i have a hard time finding a mate who understands that. I do better at making friends. Maybe because I dont have to guard my heart as much. My friends usually become my family. I am extremely loyal to them as long as they dont give me a reason to feel different about them. i do not like liars. I want to trust people enough to relax and be who I am. It that is very important to me since I am a bit complex being a survivor.

Who I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet my soulmate. I am successful career wise. I am a wonderful friend. I have that ride or die attitude with my friends. I have travelled so many places waiting for the sign to finally be rooted. I think if I meet someone truly amazing and I feel like they are home then I will finally set them roots. Its really hard to enjoy success and great achievements when you have no one look for in the stands or to share it with. I am just waiting for love. My other half is who I keep looking for and really would like to find them before I become too old.
