About me:
Dre Hefner, born Antonio Simmons is a artist, song writer, and producer from Beaufort, South Carolina. At the age of fourteen, he began to write and produce his own music, which led to presenting his unique sound online where he started to gain his own following. Having the same birth date of the legendary Tupac Shakur and sharing the last name of music mogul Russell Simmons (although no relation), creates a certain appeal and mystique about his persona. His influences include such artists as T.I., Drake, and B.O.B. which have inspired his very own sound. He has managed to use a similar formula as artists such as Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa and Soulja Boy by using social networks and taking advantage of the power of the internet to build his fan base.
