Music

It started with the Eurythmics. I was 7 and saw the Sweet Dreams video. I imprinted on synth pop, much to my country fan parents’ dismay. From then on it was Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Siouxsie... Synth got me to West Coast Punk via Oingo Boingo and Social Distortion and now it’s everything from Deep Forest to Twin Tribes. I still hate country, though. Except Dolly and the Chicks.

Movies

Recently? See above about meeting people. Most watched in the last year? The Old Guard, The Laundromat, Spotlight, Sense & Sensibility (1995 and 2008 mini), Bohemian Rhapsody.

Television

I like Lucifer right now. But I missed most of the 90s and 2000s TV. I could not afford to buy or move a TV, and I couldn’t afford cable.

Books

Well... I have 2 tons of them in my house. (Not an exaggeration.) My favorite is The Lions of Al-Rassan.

Heroes

... humans have feet of clay. Not willing to put someone on a pedestal. The fall always hurts everyone.
