About me:
I am working with elementary and middle school families to help start a worldwide movement for "going green" without overemphasis on scary stuff like global warming and sea level rise. We do this with our website at http://greenactioneers.com and our Green Actioneers Workbook which you can find out about on the website. The Workbook is in English and Spanish and it is loaded with coloring book pages for younger students and relevant word games for older students. I believe hope is a better motivator than fear.
Who I'd like to meet:
I want to meet people who can help to create a closed social network for every classroom adopting Green Actioneers, so kids and parents have a safe place where they can share with other families what they have done, get gold starts and a carbon footprint "score" that descends toward zero. I'd love to meet people who want to work with families to reduce their carbon and water footprints. I'm particularly interested in seeing the Green Actioneers Workbook translated into other languages so it can be helpful beyond North America.
