Hii, well, once you get a good number of friends (I already have over 500), the most you end up doing is replying to people lol. It's so much fun though. Also, be sure to post bulletins and blogs about whatever you come up with, because that adds a lot of fun activity too.
Well, I'm here for you if you need any help. You can send me a direct message too, of course, and try out that feature. That's actually a new one he just added a few days ago, so it's still in development (beta), and will get much better.
When I first joined on here there was no IM, plus the only notifications that worked were ones to comments on your own profile (notifications to replies to comments weren't working, nor any other notifications lol), so An, the creator of this site (he's in your friends by default), has been working VERY hard to get all the improvements so fast. The kid's a genius! lol.
And great, I'll check out your other SM links too, but to be honest, I'm so happy being on here now, I haven't had ANY desire to go to my other ones lol. If you love Spacehey already, I'm sure you're eventually going to feel like that too, and tell all of your friends and family to join here too so that you can interact with them over here instead.
Sorry for the long comment, but it's just nice to meet a new person who really sees this site for what it is, and the potential in it. I really appreciate meeting new friends like you!
