“Café Terrace at Night”

I am deeply connected with this specific artwork of Vincent Van Gogh for some reason. It holds nostalgic memories for me since I first discovered this in the very first lucid dream of my life. I was around 2-3 years old at the time to experience my first lucid dream. All I could see was a small, warm city filled with yellow street lights contrasting the blue darkness of the night. I found an underground tunnel leading to a mysterious chamber (reminded me of the “Evernight Forest” of the game Swordigo I used to play with my dad) ‘till I found the exit.

All I saw was a bright café. Its warm lights welcomed me. I never interacted with anyone I saw; I was too busy spending my time admiring the surroundings.

What's more fascinating is that I pictured the exact place in that old lucid dream without even discovering his artworks yet. That's why when I first discovered this specific artwork, nostalgia completely blinded me... Odd.
