General

Hiii ! i’m Sara, i’m 20 years old and i’m from Italy but i have Moroccan origins. I know 4 languages (Italian, Darija, English and French), i love learning about different cultures, and i’ve been studying foreign languages since i was a kid (i studied Spanish, German and a little bit of Turkish but i forgot pretty much everything😭 ). I'm also a huge flag nerd and i love history. I am deeply interested in and concerned about decolonization and learning more about the history of oppressed and colonized people, especially in Africa and West Asia. For this reason, I've been spreading awareness about Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Syria ecc… for years. I truly believe that not caring about the oppressed or staying neutral in these situations, is siding with the transgressors. I despise performative activism and white feminism; they only cause more harm to our cause.

Music

I listen to a lot of genres, but my favorite one is Visual Kei, I've been listening to it since 2022 and I love Gulu gulu and Kamijo. I also listen to Fairuz, Umm Kulthum, Warda ecc... and nu metal.

Movies

I am so passionate about cinematography! I've watched so many horror movies, but my favorite movie of all time will always be "The Battle of Algiers"❤️‍🩹. I watch documentaries too, and the best one I've ever seen is "The Hour of the Liberation Has Arrived". Some other movies that I also enjoyed watching are "The Virgin Suicides", "Get Out(2017)" and " We need to talk about Kevin".

Television

I play videogames, especially horror ones and visual novels. I LOVE Innocent Rouge and any work by Junji Ito, i watch anime too and my favorite ones are bsd and Hellsing. I am obsessed with psychological horror in movies, books and videogames.

Books

My favorite writer is Edgar Allan Poe so i'm in love with every short story he wrote, my favorite one is “William Wilson”. Some of my other favorite books are “Orientalism” by Edward Sa’id, “Mornings in Jenin” by Susan Abulhawa and “The Wretched of the Earth” by Franzt Fanon. I also really like “L'Ètranger” by Albert Camus and “Letter to his Father” by Franz Kafka. I also LOVE Innocent Rouge and any work by Junji Ito.
