About me:

What is a Zine?
A Zine is a small noncommercial fan-made magazine that includes things like drawings, comics, stories etc. with a “Do it yourself” philosophy and a focus on self-expression and creativity.
What is the Spacehey Zine project?
The Spacehey Zine project is a non-commercial initiative by Spacehey users for Spacehey users, with the aim to create an online Zine featuring Spacehey artists. Contrary to fanzines, the Spacehey Zine project isn’t aimed at a specific fandom or piece of media, but rather at allowing Spacehey artists to collaborate and show off their art and express themselves.

Frequently asked questions.
Q. What can I submit to the Zine?
A. As of now: general art, comic strips, poems and short stories. This whole project is based around self-expression so don’t be shy to be creative and bring out your favourite OCs.

Q. What happens to Stories / Art / Comic strips submitted to the zine?
A. You keep total ownership over your work, and are free to post it wherever you want.

Q. What is (And isn’t) allowed?
A. The Zine is for everyone in the website to enjoy, so let’s keep things T for teen. Violence is allowed, but gore or explicitly sexual content are not. Goes without saying that any kind of racism or bigotry is strictly forbidden. Let's try to stay away from fanfiction for this first time. Any kind of art/story made with generative A.I. is also not allowed, Zines are a way of human expression so only human-made works will be allowed.

Q. Where can I submit my works?
A. If you are interested in participating, DM me so we can go over the details.

Q. I'm not an artist, are there any other ways to help?
A. The best way you can help the project is sharing it with your friends, and telling every Spacehey artist that might be interested. Mouth to mouth communication is the best way to help spread the news.

Thanks for adding me. I have a ton of written zines that I am in the process of illustrating/collaging. This sounds like a lot of fun. I hope there will be more in the future!
