enigma

General

really into games, obviously. currently playing dead island, and before that i was binging arma 3. i like games such as ground branch, ready or not, helldivers 2, and fallout 4, so mainly shooters. however, i also enjoy the occasional visual novel, such as song of saya or ddlc+. outside of games, i am also a big fan and advocate of libertarianism, as i believe everyone should have the ability to say what they want, bear arms, and defend themselves from those who wish to do them harm.

Music

i like joy division, deftones, radiohead, system of a down, and even a bit of j-rock with the likes of mass of the fermenting dregs. i'd have to say that "chop suey!" is my most-listened-to song from those groups, but i also enjoy other genres like rap, shoegaze, etc.

Movies

i don't have a favorite genre, but i do like action, comedy, and horror the most, i guess. the most recent film i saw in the cinema was iron lung by markiplier, and i found it really enjoyable and a very faithful adaptation of the game. outside of that, i've also seen the dictator and a24's civil war.

Television

i am a big fan of anime. i really like evangelion, future diary, tokyo ghoul, jin-roh, and gate as my top 5, although i enjoy many others as well. i feel that these five have incredibly well-written plots and characters. i am currently trying to collect all the volumes of tokyo ghoul, as well as future diary/mirai nikki, but it's unfortunately becoming harder and more expensive to find and buy them.

Books

i like a variety of books, but the ones that have stuck with me the most have mostly been yukio mishima's works, such as sun and steel and the sailor who fell from grace with the sea. i am currently in the middle of reading "surrounded by idiots" by thomas erikson.
