Music

I like pretty much every alt genre (except scene music sorry bestie Ik I suck /j), I’m goth tho and my favorite goth artists are: Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, Voodoo Church, Sisters of Mercy (Patricia Morrison hmu /j), and ofc ml Scary B****es (Spacehey made me sensor it). I also really love punk music, my favorite punk artists atm are X-Ray Spex, Team Dresch, Bikini Kill, and Hole. I also really like black metal and death metal but I’m still exploring those genres so I don’t have any particular favorites from those. I want to promote a few of my favorite small artists rn (if u don’t listen to them ur not gay and therefore suck and are lame) *The Muslims (queer Muslim poc punk band taking punk back from the conservative posers) *Bev Rage and the Drinks (queer punk band fronted by a drag queen, love them) *Nox Novacula (sapphic goth band that makes really awesome and atmospheric goth music) *RAKTA (a very cool Brazilian experimental noise rock gothic band that I personally love) *Gottlieb (they’re just a cool punk band that is honestly educational and they provide awesome commentary on what’s going on politically atm) *Radiohead (jk don’t come for me)

Movies

I’m probably gonna do a movie blog on my profile over the summer bc I have the time now, Anyway these are my top ten favorite movies: 1. Parasite 2. Fight Club (Ik Ik, a movie about white men, but ykw it’s awesome fucking commentary and its unique so shut up) 3. Hereditary (Toni Collette was ROBBED) 4. But I’m A Cheerleader (What?? A lesbian who loves But I’m A Cheerleader?? Never seen that before!) 5. The VVitch 6. Being John Malkovich (I do like movies with happy endings, this being one of course) 7. Pan’s Labyrinth (I love it when they make things I loved as a kid horrible and scary) 8. The Ugly Stepsister (read what I just said in number 7) 9. Bugonia (Such a masterpiece) 10. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (I am THE target audience for this movie)

Television

Baby reindeer is awesome, the L word is awesome, love Orange is the New Black, American Horror Story is amazing, Daria is pretty good, and there’s like a million shows I’ve been planning to watch but never do.

Books

I’ll put my top 5 books and then also some of my favorite authors/poets 1. Frankenstein 2. The Great Gatsby 3. 1984 4. Fight Club 5. Carmilla (honestly wasn’t even that well written it’s just a vibe) My favorite poet is Emily Dickinson, some other poets I like are Edgar Allan Poe (second favorite ofc), T.S. Eliot, and Sappho obviously (istg I’m so cliche I can’t 😭) My favorite authors are: George Orwell, Plato, Oscar Wilde, Mary Shelley, and Toni Morrison
