About me:
Jason. 28. I grew up on the early internet before everything became algorithms and data harvesting. I miss when the internet felt like a community instead of a machine. During the day I run a family e-commerce business. At night I'm building my own retro social network at y2social.com because I got tired of waiting for someone else to bring the old internet back. I like Japanese food, watches, retro gaming, and anything that reminds me of 2004.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who remembers what it felt like to hear your dial-up connect. People who spent hours customizing their MySpace page instead of doom scrolling. Anyone who thinks social media should be fun again.
