--Writing and language are my passion. Clear communication and literacy are among the most important qualities for a free and equal world (the pessimist in me sees these things dwindling and dying out while the optimist sees where they're flourishing and being renewed). I love writing - not the creative kind; I don't have the kind of mind that's good at thinking up stories and characters. My strong suit is the more boring, oft-overlooked, but nonetheless important technical writing (imagine that in a fancy cursive font) --At the risk of sounding anthropocentric: I think human beings and the cultures and art and technology we create are the most interesting things in the world. For better or for worse, the Earth would be a lot duller without us running around on it. --W*rld of W*rcraft and L*ague of L*gends player (derogatory) --Games I'm not ashamed to admit I like: Terraria, Morrowind, EarthBound, NES Tetris, GTA, Core Keeper, Bloons TD 5/6 |
