About me:

The treehouse was once a small dream, built high upon the limbs of an aging tree by five teenagers who swore their friendship would survive anything. They built the treehouse as a happy place to gather, to share stories, and to keep the promises made only for one another.

The treehouse was never meant to be left unfinished, yet it was. They drifted apart, leaving the treehouse to wait through long months as time slowly rewrote its story.

The garden dried into broken ground, the tree that held the house turned black and lifeless, while tattered missing person papers trembled whenever the wind came by.

They came back in the end, as though the treehouse itself was calling for them to come back and finish what they had once begun. They decided to tend to the forgotten place again, and so the name of the Keepers has followed them ever since.

There used to be five, or so the stories said. Yet one place now lay empty, and the teenager who should have filled it existed only on a tattered missing person poster.

And when the wind dragged the tattered poster back to their feet… was it ever truly a coincidence?
