Music

My musical taste leans toward dark and melancholic sounds. I listen to alternative rock, metal, and genres like goth and post-punk. I enjoy bands such as Deftones, Type O Negative, Bauhaus, The Cure, and Radiohead because their music conveys strong emotions and a deep atmosphere. It’s not happy or commercial music, but it makes me feel comfortable and connected.

Movies

In terms of my movie taste, I’m drawn to films with a dark and fantastical aesthetic. I enjoy Tim Burton movies such as Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, along with some of his lesser-known films like Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, and Ed Wood. I also like movies by Guillermo del Toro, especially Frankenstein, Pan’s Labyrinth, and Crimson Peak, because of their dark and emotional tone. In addition, I enjoy several Studio Ghibli films like Whisper of the Heart, Only Yesterday, The Wind Rises, and Porco Rosso, which have a calmer and more nostalgic vibe.

Television

When it comes to my taste in television, I like shows that feel intense and real. I’m not really into super happy or perfect stories; I prefer ones with characters who have problems, make mistakes, and go through complicated situations. I like when shows focus on strong emotions and messy relationships. I really like Skins and Euphoria because they show adolescence and youth in a raw, unfiltered way. They talk about things like relationships, mental health, addictions, and identity, but from a more realistic and chaotic perspective. The characters aren’t perfect and often make bad decisions, which makes them feel more real and easier to relate to. I also like Nana, which is different but just as emotional. I like it because it mixes drama, music, and relationships, and shows how complicated it can be to grow up, fall in love, and chase your dreams. Even though it’s calmer than the others, it still connects on an emotional level. Overall, my taste in TV shows leans toward stories that are emotional, intense, and focused on the characters. I like watching shows that make you feel things and don’t feel fake or overly exaggerated.

Books

When I read, I usually go for manga and books with a dark or melancholic atmosphere. I like stories that focus on emotions, relationships, and personal conflicts. I enjoy manga like Nana, Tokyo Ghoul, and Death Note, as well as classic and gothic books such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Reading these kinds of stories helps me disconnect and get lost in different worlds.
