General

I spend my days diving into ancient software like it’s a treasure chest (currently scheming with a 2007 iMac… don’t ask, it’s top secret). I’m obsessed with CRTs and want more than humanly possible, live in Kid Pix Deluxe on my 2001 Windows XP like it’s a digital playground, and make random masterpieces like my snowman Lawbart he files taxes, judges your life choices, and is basically a hero. I do chaotic, funny stuff, take photos of my random collection with my Kodak EasyShare CX 4230, scream at disturbing movies, and sometimes post about the ones I’m excited for… or just whatever nonsense pops into my brain. Neon is basically oxygen, bad jokes are mandatory, and pure chaos is my lifestyle. Welcome to my corner of the internet — it’s weird, colorful, and probably slightly dangerous.!!!

Music

I’m all about Midwest emo chaos McCafferty, The Front Bottoms, basically anything that’s messy, emotional, and catchy. Just to be clear: I do not support McCafferty as a person, only the music itself. I love how it sounds, the energy, the feelings it brings, but I do not condone anything he’s done. Of course, that’s not true for every artist — some I support fully, some I just enjoy the music. I also love random gems like Lovely by Mt. Eddie, and basically any Midwest emo song that makes my brain feel all the things. Music first, artist not supported when needed that’s my rule.!!!

Movies

I live for movies that stick in your brain like a cursed memory. Talk to Me the Riley scene? Never leaving my skull. Malignant that plot twist? Legendary. Bring Her Back the cantaloupe scene? Eternal. Weapons perfect chaos, loved every second. Long Legs and Gladys amazing, though maybe slightly overhyped, and yes, Aunt Gladys + Long Legs totally need to get together. Evil Dead Rise pure peak, Alyssa Sutherland as Allie is iconic. Terrifier insane, some parts too crazy even for me, but the bedroom scene? Imprinted forever. Smile 1 & 2 absolute gems, praying for a Smile 3, though I’m bracing for every character to die (classic franchise move, can’t complain). Basically, I love movies that make me scream, gasp, laugh, and think “what the heck did I just watch?” and yes, I will never forget these scenes, ever.!!!

Television

I barely watch TV, but when I do, it has to hit hard. I Am Not Okay With This my most beloved show ever, and yes, I am still furious it got canceled after that cliffhanger. It’s perfect, chaotic, emotional, and I will never get over the fact that it ended too soon. Welcome to Dairy hilarious, perfect, and exactly what I needed when I wanted to laugh at complete chaos. Other than that… I mostly watch movies, because TV rarely scratches the same itch, but when it does, it’s unforgettable.!!!

Books

I’m not much of a big book reader, but when something grabs me, it grabs me. I Am Not Okay With This the book has a sadder ending than the show, and honestly, that just hits hard, but I love it anyway. The Long Walk and It are classics I can get lost in, and sometimes I’ll read fun stuff like Dog Man or Holes if I’m in the mood. Mostly, I’m okay with books that get turned into movies, because I’ll usually watch it first, then maybe read it if I feel brave. Reading isn’t my main game, but when it hits, it hits hard.!!!

Heroes

I don’t really have heroes, but if I had to pick one, it would be Syd from I Am Not Okay With This. She’s not technically a hero, but she’s chaotic, relatable, and just… perfect. Honestly, that’s probably the closest I get to a hero, and I’ll take it.!!!

toasterStatic's Blurbs

About me:

I’m a CRT hoarding, UltraKill-blasting, Cuphead-speedrunning, scary-movie-screaming chaos machine who thinks Windows 98 is peak civilization. I own a Staples Easy Button from 2005 (it basically controls the universe) and smiley faces are my spirit animals. I collect random nonsense, inhale neon like it’s oxygen, make stories that probably make no sense, fail spectacularly at “dressing different,” and survive entirely on bad jokes, chaotic energy, and questionable decisions. Welcome to my ridiculous world you’ve been warned.!!!

Who I'd like to meet:

Stephen King to talk about scary stories and get some tips for my own chaotic ideas Steve Buscemi because you just know he has the weirdest, funniest stories Finn Wolfhard I’d love to hear about his music and acting adventures Big Man (Splatoon) because how could I not want to meet someone so ridiculously huge and colorful V1 (Ultra Kill) to see if the legend is even as chaotic in real life as in-game Red Guy (Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared) I need answers to questions that probably shouldn’t exist!!!
