Movies	"Anything that challenges the viewer’s perception of reality. I find most modern cinema to be... lacking in depth. I prefer the works of David Lynch or classic gothic horror. The Shining is acceptable, though the prose in the novel is far more evocative. I also have a soft spot for Perfect Blue... it’s a very visceral experience."
Television	"I find most modern television quite... loud. I prefer stories that allow for silence and introspection. If a show relies on jump-scares rather than atmosphere, I find it difficult to stay engaged."
Books	"The Portrait of Markov, complex metaphors, psychological thrillers, surrealism."
Heroes	"HP Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, or any Victorian-era gothic poets."
