General

I write, I draw (poorly), I design games for my friends, I was the drummer in a rock band for like 10 years. Idk dude, I’m just a person who wants to connect with people but not in a hyper corporate bullshit setting. Human connection isn’t commercialized. It’s real and messy and awesome. 

Music

Evanescence, Linkin Park, Carpenter Brut, Hans Zimmer, Blink 182, Woodkid, but also whatever music fits my vibe at the time. I’ll do jazz or classical piano or synthwave if it hits right. 

I’m on a Gunship kick right now. 

Movies

Oh boy, too many to count. Even bad movies inspire me to write something so I pretty much enjoy everything. Except body horror…I don’t do that.

But Tron Legacy, Interstellar, Lord of the Rings, Arrival, the Creed trilogy, Watchmen, Elysium, Hellboy 1&2, The Mummy movies, Signs, Oblivion, and the Matrix movies are all pretty rad. 

Television

The OC, Scrubs, House MD, Psych, Burn Notice, Spartacus, Twin Peaks, Leverage, most Star Treks, Smallville, the old DC animated shows, Wings, Better Off Ted, the OG Magnum PI (no hate for the new one tho), Supernatural, and a bunch of other great shows. 

Books

Right now I’m on a medieval and fantasy kick but last year I was reading about Greco-Roman history and I’ve been chipping away at a few thrillers and mystery novels too.

I’ve also got that Batman 89 sequel book about Clayface and it’s great so far. 

Heroes

I’m scared to put people on a pedestal, but I appreciate genre definers and genre breakers. The first to do it and the first to break away.
