General	skating obviously lol but also thrifting!! i spend way too much time digging through bins at salvation army looking for the perfect 90s baby tees or oversized men's flannels. i’m super into analog photography right now too... i have a collection of disposable cameras and a crusty old polaroid i found at a garage sale. i love capturing "vibes" and taking candid pics of my friends when they aren't looking. 📸 i’m also a huge vinyl collector—there’s just something about the crackle of an old record that sounds better than an mp3. when it’s raining and i can’t skate, you’ll find me in my room customizing my clothes with safety pins and bleach, or drawing weird monster doodles on my sneakers with sharpies. oh, and retro gaming!! i’m still trying to beat my high score on tony hawk’s pro skater 2 on my ps2. 🎮👾
Music	NU METAL POP PUNK SHIT
Movies	anything by gregg araki or wes anderson (love the colors!!). i’m obsessed with 90s teen cult classics like clueless, jawbreaker, and empire records. i also watch way too many skate videos—thrasher’s "king of the road" is basically my bible. also horror movies!! the cheesier the better. give me jennifer’s body or scream any day of the week. 🍿🎬
Television	jackass (don't try this at home lol), skins (effy is my spirit animal), invader zim, and beavis and butt-head. i also lowkey love watching old reruns of the simple life just to laugh at how ridiculous it is. 📺🌈
Books	i mostly read zines i find at local record stores, but i also like chuck palahniuk and anything about music history or punk subculture. i’m currently trying to read more manga too—nana is my absolute favorite, the fashion is soooooo good. 📖🖤

About me:

★ ★ Hiiiii! My name is Riley but most people at the park just call me "Riles" or "Ghost" (bc I’m pale af and always disappearing to go skate lol). I’m just a 17-year-old girl living for the sound of wheels on pavement and the smell of fresh grip tape. If I’m not at school or sleeping, you can find me at the local concrete bowl trying not to snap my deck or my ankles. I’ve been skating since I was 11 when my older brother gave me his beat-up Element board, and honestly, I haven't looked back since. Skateboarding isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s literally my entire personality and the only thing that keeps me sane in this boring ass town. 🛹🤘 My style is basically "thrift store dumpster dive." I’m usually rocking oversized flannels, my favorite pair of shredded Dickies, and Vans that are held together by nothing but prayer and duct tape. I don’t care about "looking like a girl"—I care about being able to land a kickflip without my clothes being too tight. I’m obsessed with the early 2000s skate scene... think Elissa Steamer vibes. I spend way too much time watching old skate videos on VHS and wishing I could have lived through the 90s. My room is a total disaster zone covered in band posters, broken decks, and empty Monster cans. If you don't like the smell of skate wax and Sharpies, we probably won't get along. ✍️✨ Music is EVERYTHING. I literally cannot skate without my iPod Nano blasting something that makes my ears bleed. If it’s not classic pop-punk like Blink-182 or Sum 41, it’s probably some heavy grunge or Midwest emo. I’m that girl who will argue with you for three hours about why Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 has the best soundtrack of all time (it does, don't @ me). I also love photography... I carry my digital camera everywhere to take blurry pics of my friends eating pavement. Life is too short to take anything seriously, so I’m just here to catch some air, hang with my crew, and avoid getting "the talk" from my parents about my grades again. 🎧🔥 PLZ DONT ADD ME IF: You’re a poser, you think girls can’t skate, or you’re just here to be creepy. I’m only looking for real people who want to talk about gear, music, or life. If you have a spot with a good rail, HMU!!!

Who I'd like to meet:

I wanna meet anyone who actually gets it. If you’ve ever spent four hours in the heat trying to nail a single trick just to get five seconds of shaky footage on a camcorder, you’re my kind of person. I’m looking for people to go on late-night street missions with—finding those hidden spots behind strip malls or skateable loading docks that the security guards haven't found yet. If you know how to wax a curb properly and you don't mind getting a little bit of "road rash" for the sake of a good line, we should definitely hang out. 🛹💥 I’d love to meet people who have a diverse taste in music but won't judge me when I blast Avril Lavigne or Paramore while I’m cruising. If you play bass or drums, please HMU because I’ve been dying to start a garage band that sounds like a messy mix of Sonic Youth and Hole. Also, if you’re into DIY stuff—like sewing patches onto your own hoodies, making your own zines, or painting your own custom deck art—please talk to me! I love people who create cool sh*t instead of just buying it at the mall. 🎨🎸 Basically, if you’re chill, down to earth, and you don’t think "skater girl" is just a fashion trend from Pinterest, add me. I don’t care if you’re a pro or you literally just bought your first board yesterday—as long as you’re not a poser and you’re actually down to learn and fall and get back up again.
