General

irl i like my job (researcher), going to the gym, cooking and watching movies with my girlfriend, playing videogames, reading, dancing, listening to music... i wish i had more time and means to hike, and got better at photography and had more time to write. lately i am very fascinated by digital minimalism and returning to old tech and old ways, before social media as we know it now and devices designed to fit in the attention economy. yikes that got dark.

Music

the holy emo trinity (mcr, fob, panic) + twenty one pilots (they're probably my fav band still) emo, screamo, mathrock, dnb/breakcore, hyperpop, 80s music (i LOVE the police and the cure) i also really like nothing but thieves, the dare, gorillaz, alt j, foster the people, lorde, iDKHOW, addison rae (wild), charli xcx, bmth, katseye and bts

Movies

my fav movie is back to the future, in general i live for 80s scifi. little shop of horrors, tron, ghostbusters, matrix, star wars... also "normal" 80s movies like footloose, the breakfast club... i also really like musicals, old ones like singing in the rain but also "new" movies or adaptations like les mis, lalaland... i also can be found in cinemas every time something comes out by yorgos lanthimos or wes anderson because their movies are like sweet treats to me (in the case of lanthimos the treats somehow always go horribly wrong)

Television

i don't watch a lot of that anymore, however i really love the office, boris (italian series), i think i may finish stranger things, also i quite liked himym. oh and of course sherlock and doctor who! also anime sometimes but less lately also huh do dan and phil count? also dropout tv

Books

i really like classics, i mostly read those, sometimes also non fiction currently reading the lotr series some of my favourites include anna karenina, 1984, zeno's conscience, ready player one

Heroes

alan turing (my phd is in cryptography and i am gay) tyler joseph is also pretty cool
