General	horror, indie film, abandoned buildings, late-night drives, VHS tapes, editing, urban legends, liminal places before that became a buzzword, old websites that look like they’re dying, thunderstorms, disposable cameras.
Music	Deftones, Slipknot, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, Tool, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, early Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Mudvayne. also a bunch of horror soundtracks i burn onto CDs.
Movies	The Thing (1982), The Blair Witch Project (1999), REC (2007), The Ring (2002), Cloverfield (2008), VHS tapes nobody else has seen, Session 9 (2001), The Descent (2005), Jacob’s Ladder, The Exorcist, Silent Hill (2006 — fight me, it’s good).
Television	Ghost Adventures (the new episodes are sick), Unsolved Mysteries re-runs, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, X-Files, MonsterQuest.
Books	House of Leaves, Stephen King stuff (the older ones), my stack of notepads full of scripts i’ll probably never finish.
Heroes	wes craven john carpenter whoever invented the steadicam the guy on YouTube who uploaded that weird creature video before it got deleted

About me:

hey. i’m caius. i make short films (no, not the stupid artsy kind, real horror). my life is basically school → work → editing → repeat. i’m into: horror movies that actually TRY (carpenter, craven, romero… not whatever the hell “Saw 6” thinks it’s doing) urban exploration (yeah, it’s a real hobby. no, i’m not a crackhead lol) collecting old tapes i find in thrift stores filming abandoned places with my miniDV cam burning DVDs of my own edits because my computer hates me i’m not really here to “make friends,” but if you like creepy shit, broken places, or movies where nobody wins, we’ll get along. i run the urbex club at school (ok technically it’s not a “real” club but we meet and that counts).
