Hecate_Persephone's Interests

General

I’m drawn to the raw energy of music — the thunder of drums, the scream of guitars, and the haunting melodies that linger long after the last note fades. I love exploring the shadowy corners of art, literature, and cinema, where stories dwell that most people overlook. Dark poetry, gothic novels, and classic horror films captivate me as much as the newest metal albums. I find beauty in contrasts — the clash of light and shadow, chaos and order, silence and the roar of a crowd at a live concert. I enjoy wandering through old streets, abandoned places, or just sitting in a quiet room, letting music guide my thoughts. Philosophical debates, exploring human psychology, and reflecting on the mysteries of life fascinate me as much as the adrenaline of a powerful riff or an epic solo. Like I listen anything i found it good <3

Music

Music / Bands I Love I live for music that shakes the soul and ignites the mind. Heavy riffs, roaring drums, and raw vocals are my lifeblood. Metal in all its forms — from classic heavy metal to symphonic, black, and gothic metal — resonates with the chaos and beauty I see in the world. I’m drawn to bands that tell stories with fire and shadow: Rammstein for their theatrical intensity, Ghost for their dark elegance, Iron Maiden for epic tales and soaring melodies, Metallica for relentless energy, and Slipknot for the raw emotional storm. I also find solace in classic rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, and AC/DC, whose music carries timeless rebellion and power. Music is my compass and my escape; it’s where I feel most alive, most understood. Whether headbanging in a crowded pit or listening alone in the quiet of night, the music guides me, whispers to the darkness inside me, and fuels the fire of who I am.

Movies

I have a deep love for films that explore darkness, mystery, and the human psyche. Classic horror holds a special place in my heart — timeless gems like Dracula (1931), Frankenstein, and other Universal Monsters movies that defined the gothic horror aesthetic. Their atmosphere, shadows, and dramatic tension captivate me endlessly. I also enjoy psychological thrillers and suspenseful mysteries, such as The Thursday Murder Club and Talk to Me, which blend clever storytelling with tension that keeps you on edge. Classic detective tales fascinate me as well — the old Sherlock Holmes movies, with their sharp intellect and moody Victorian settings, are endlessly engaging. And of course, I’m drawn to the chilling sophistication of Hannibal and the other classic horror thrillers, where the lines between morality, obsession, and fear are blurred. For me, movies are not just entertainment; they are worlds to step into, where shadows and stories intertwine, where tension and beauty coexist, and where imagination meets darkness

Television

I’m drawn to shows that blend mystery, dark humor, suspense, and the supernatural. I love quirky and bold series like Our Flag Means Death, where humor meets unexpected adventures, and Good Omens, which combines fantasy, chaos, and a touch of apocalypse. Classic and modern crime thrillers hold my attention as well — from the sharp intellect of Sherlock Holmes (BBC), the chilling cunning of Dexter, to the procedural intensity of Law & Order. I also enjoy psychologically complex dramas like Hannibal and Fellow Travelers, which explore the darkness within human nature. Fantasy and supernatural worlds captivate me too — Midnight Mass and Sleepy Hollow with their eerie atmospheres, as well as series that explore hidden powers or extraordinary talents like High Potential, let me escape into thrilling, mysterious realms. I love shows that combine suspense, drama, and a touch of the bizarre, where every episode feels like a doorway into a different, darker universe.

Books

I’m drawn to literature that challenges the mind and stirs the soul. Magical and fantastical worlds like Harry Potter captivate me with their depth, mystery, and hidden truths. I love the sharp intellect and deductive brilliance of Sherlock Holmes, as well as the dark, psychological explorations of authors like Fyodor Dostoevsky, who delve into morality, obsession, and the human condition. Philosophical and deep novels, as well as works that explore the shadows of society, intrigue me endlessly. I’m fascinated by crime and detective stories, riddles and puzzles, dark romance, and gothic tales that entwine love with danger and suspense. Horror literature, with its ability to provoke fear and awe simultaneously, holds a special place in my heart. I enjoy books that make me question reality, explore human nature, and immerse me in worlds both beautiful and terrifying — stories that linger in my thoughts long after the last page is turned.

Heroes

My heroes are those who embody complexity, intelligence, and courage in the face of darkness. Severus Snape, with his hidden depths, sacrifices, and unwavering loyalty, has always fascinated me — a reminder that true strength often lies in subtlety and shadow. I also admire real-life heroes in art and performance, like the brilliant Alan Rickman, whose presence and talent not only entertained but also inspired me and countless others. Heroes, to me, are not only those who fight battles openly, but those who move quietly through life with integrity, wisdom, and the courage to be themselves, even when misunderstood.
