General

My interests are quite varied. I'm a musician that absolutely loves learning about new music, guitar techniques, production techniques, and really anything to do with the actual creation of music, though I can't stand the typical social media aspect to it. I also love theology. I'm a Christian (no not Christian Nationalist, I can't stand that they are roped into Christianity now) and am currently an Mdiv student going into my final year of seminary, so I would probably be worried if I didn't like theology. I am also interested in Indigenous studies, as I am Native American, Muscogee to be specific, and wish to learn more about my people's culture as much as much as possible. I am also an Anarchist that believes that all political sides are corrupt. Finally, I'm interested in Queer studies. As an Aro/Ace person, I hope to learn as much as possible and how my future ministries can help create a safe and accepting space.

Music

My music taste is a bit all over the place. Some of my favorite bands are Green Day, Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, Jackie Venson, Nirvana, Samantha Crain, Mozart Gabriel, Amy Winehouse, The Clash, As It Is, Ben Quad, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Sunny Day Real Estate, System of a Down, Skating Polly, hanabie, Paramore, Frank Sinatra, Ado, The Interrupters, Wolf Alice, First of October, and many more!

Movies

For movies, I like a few different genres. My favorite would probably be horror, with some of my favorite movies from the genre being Halloween, The Shining, The Blair Witch Project, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Conjuring, The Devil's Doorway, Prey, and many others. I'm also a fan of nostalgic comedies and music based movies. My favorite movie of all time has to be School of Rock! Another that I love is The Rocker!

Television

For TV, I have a hard time sticking to a series but I do have a few favorites that I go back to. I love 90s shows that I grew up watching like Daria, Friends, and Goosebumps. I also love 2000s shows like Lost, The Big Bang Theory (I know controversial), The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Invader Zim, The Office, and the 4Kidz version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also love the recent surge of Native American shows that have been actually made by indigenous filmmakers like Rez Dogs and Dark Winds.

Books

I have quite a few different books that I love. As a Christian (again not Christian Nationalist) I have to first put the Bible. After this, I love theology books (though I ought to as a current Mdiv student). Outside of this, I love reading about my Native American culture. Some specific titles that I love are Indigenizing Philosophy through the Land by Brian Burkhart, Our Stories Remember by Joseph Bruchac, and Never Whistle At Night, which is a horror fiction collection from Native American authors.
