My blog is all poetry and writing!

I am an amateur writer.

I use amateur as a noun here:

Amateur:

1. One who is attached to the study of something,

without professional engagement

2. A lover of something

I love to write, but language has never been my strong suit. English is my only language and due to adhd dulling my focus, reading has never come easily to me.

I place a certain insecurity in sharing my writing, which is why I call myself an amateur, however writing cannot live if it is never read.
