General

i’m interested in:
creating art (collaging, sketching, charcoal, paper mâché, etc.) listening to many different genres of music (plus, i absolutely adore concerts!)
politics, activism, journaling, reading and writing my own poetry
going on long walks, reading under my special tree, horseback riding, documenting my visits with the chiropractor

Music

i’m passionate about quite a few artists, but the beatles and the doors have won me over.
paul mccartney and john lennon have always been my darlings. jim morrison is an inspiration to my art.
❕i don’t endorse: “paul is dead” theory, “yoko ono broke up the beatles!”, or any crazy “hidden messages” within the beatles tracks.
nowadays, i mostly listen to psychedelic rock, old folk music, blues-rock, etc. but i continue to love goth, emo (don’t fret, i know the stark difference between the two), many different types of metal, etc.

Movies

my favorite movies are “watership down” and “donnie darko”.
🐇 perhaps participating in rabbit shows growing up influenced me.

Television

my favorite show of all time is six feet under.
i can see myself in david fisher at times.

Books

a couple important books/comics to me include:
“the diary of a young girl”, commonly referred to as “anne frank’s diary”
“to kill a mockingbird” by harper lee
the entire “magnus chase and the gods of asgard” series by rick riordan
"DTWOF" by alison bechdel
…among many others.

Heroes

i can’t say i have a constructive personal “hero”, for i’ve gained most knowledge, perspective, empathy, and creativity i possess from the (unintentional) teachings of temporary and permanent people i’ve experienced. …also, books!
knowledge is power. 🤝
