Mike's Interests
|
General |
Hobbies: Writing (particularly self reflection pieces, for this certain point of my life…but I enjoy writing fantasy and horror characters). Watching movies and t.v. shows. Likes: Seeing my friends, supporting others for whatever they need, walkie talkies, Star Wars, viewing my friends drawings aka art, wildlife biology (as well as ecology). Dislikes: High School, my mom hogging time on the phone…you’ll find out more, there’s a lot. Talents? I’m called an effective leader for dilemmas, a strategist, “excellent storyteller.” Traits: (this is baseline, people can make their own judgement). Loyal / moody / protective |

Music |
Music? Music is EPIC. And you’ve gotta have a standard assortment when this question is asked.. but I sort of- don’t? I spew out a list of genres and artists, hopefully you get it! I like going by decades too, I’m into 80s synth-pop and new wave, 90s punk and classic rock, 00s indie rock and garage bands, 2010s twee melancholic…etc.! Ask and you shall receive my abundant 40+ hour playlist over on Spotify. |

Movies |
Movies are fucking complicated, I’m no film nerd, not necessarily? But I’m often referred to as one. You have to get down and gritty into em’ to enjoy. Open your eyes to all scenes!!! Okay, genres. Here goes: Sci-Fi Adventure, like Back to the Future (ALL THREE are bangers) The original trilogy of Star Wars. You can’t go wrong. Peak science fiction. E.T., Monsters Vs. Aliens, coming-of-age… blah. You’ll see I also dabble in a lot of fantasy like Labyrinth. But do please remember these are main-stream titles, just so anyone reading this gets the gist. |
|
Television |
As for television series? All in all it’s pretty much the same. Except I do go for more against-the-system type series. Here’s a starter list: Futurama, Skins UK, Wayne, TEOTFW, Disenchantment, Inside Job, I Am Not Okay with This, Bojack Horseman…the list goes on. Get to know me already dude! |

Books |
I think that I am QUITE the passionate reader, **cough cough*… now, these days I don’t see many kids in school actually reading, so hopefully it isn’t too hard to stomach (enough of the pick-me nerdiness. Sorry.) Surprisingly, I LOVELOVE realistic fiction. But particularly realistic fiction that’s coming-of-age. Usually I have focused on ones framed in a time of my life. So like freshman to freshman year of highschool, etc. As I am 17, I go for senior in highschool or few year of college. Whoop. I also enjoy Fantasy ++ Sci-Fi that is still grounded in realism for character dialogue, as my media has represented. My favorite era of books written is the cringe of the 2000s and 2010s. So outdated, but hella fun. Happyface, The Catcher in the Rye, A Lite Too Bright, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Looking for Alaska, Blankets etc.,etc.. |

Heroes |
The superheroes of marvel and d.c. thank you very much. Plus to the love interests, I wish I was you, Lois Lane, but a guy, of course. |

Mike's Blurbs
About me:
Helloooo all! My name is Michael, but most people just call me Mike, or Mikey. And yes, this is a chosen name, befitted to me by my friends who have personally said it fits me best. I’m going through a lot identity wise, and in the anonymity of being online I’m comfortable sharing that! Otherwise, I’m called Madeline, aka Maddy or Mads (most comfortable else-wise).
I’m 17 years old, and will be 18 after I graduate in May. My birthday is May 22nd. (I don’t do astrology with star-signs, but feel free to know imma Gemini, lol). My plans for after High School? Questionable, but I want to work with my writing, have it alongside me as I continue my studies in wildlife biology. Friends have recommended I could even be a science / english teacher for middle school kids after I’m a bum old guy! Whoop!!!
My signature color is blue, I guess? It’s a peep into my soul, sure.
Who I'd like to meet:
People also into my hobbies ++ interests, bc we can converse over em’ or just have super fantastic chemistry! I’m a selective extrovert in person, but there’s no one I’m not willing to give a chance, especially online. Socially.
