DOCTOR WHO IS MY BABY I LOVE PAT TROUGHTON HES LITERALLY ME

*cough cough* so uh im not at all obsessed with doccy who...

i love knitting (and crafting in general)

before i was sick i used to climb (redpoint 23 indoor lead, 16 outdoor sport)

I love collecting physical media and downloading legit everything off of the internet archive (brewster kahle went to uni with my dad so im a tad obsessed :P)

I have a very similar music taste to my dad (hes a boomer lol) but i also have some artists that i listen to that are a bit more modern or that he doesnt like.

I mostly listen to 60s/70s folk. here is a list of my top 5 of that genre:

1. john denver (i absolutely love all of this mans music and grew up on him)

2. don mclean (i got into him when i was 13 and saw him in concert in 2023!)

3. peter, paul and mary (dad used to sing me their songs when i was a toddler :3)

4. tom paxton (got into his music a bit after don mclean)

5. pete seeger (the literal goat. got into him when i was 14ish)

I also like 60s/70s soft rock and listen to dad's greatest hits vinyls in this genre. I got into most of these artists in 2024. Here r my top 5:

4. the beatles

5. james taylor (i saw him in concert in 2024)

I got into bedroom pop for a while n rly like cavetown (i saw him in concert in 2024), chloe moriondo and beach bunny and i have a few albums of all of them.

JOHN DENVERRRR hes such a cool guy he was into the kinds of activities that im into, hes a brilliant songwriter (i love his philosophy about it), he was an amazing activist for the wilderness! i wanted to be him when i was little n still want to carry a bit of him in everything i do :3

my dad, duh. hes like the coolest person ever I love telling all my friends how cool he is cos he deserves a lot more recognition than he is given and hes so kind to me and helps me with everything and ahhhhh i just love my dad sm.
