General

Love me some video games. Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Yakuza, DOOM and more. Generally, I like RPGs and fast-paced shooters. Also a big fan of shoot-em-ups, especially vertical-scrolling bullet hells, like Dodonpachi and Mushihimesama Futari.

Music

I'm not all that picky. I enjoy stuff from sludge metal to J-pop, rap to orchestral, pop punk to rhythmic noise. Electronic? Sure. Video game OSTs? Hell yeah. If I like it, I like it.

Movies

Big fan of Japanese classics like Kurosawa films, though my favorite is Harakiri (1961). Adore Godzilla movies, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Watched over 300 Korean films, but Memories of Murder from Bong Joon-ho is my favorite (and the rest of his filmography kicks ass too). I like crime thrillers, well-written comedies, hard-hitting dramas, and good action.

Television

Love historical (and historical fiction) shows like Spartacus, Black Sails, The Last Kingdom. One of many angry Game of Thrones fans, and I don't think I'll ever stop being angry.

Books

Honestly, I used to love reading as a kid, but high school beat that love out of me by forcing me to read stuff I didn't care for. Plus general attention deficit problems. Therefore, it's rare for me to make it through a real book. I try sometimes though. For the most part, I make due with comics and manga. Most recently, I tore through Kengan Ashura. Great read. Also like Fist of the North Star, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
