FleetCore's Interests

General

General interests? A lot of stuff. Currently it's a mixture of Minecraft, Liminal Spaces, What-If Technologies & Alternate Histories, and the concept of Scientific Analog Space Horror (example: Black Drag0nfish's "Nephthy's Media" series on YouTube). The first three things I mentioned I'm combining into a small YouTube series with my Alpha/Beta-themed "Spawnhalls" world I made on Minecraft (Java)!

Music

I really like various artists but moreso specific albums and songs rather than an artist in their entirety. "Song" Examples: Zach Bryan's "Something in The Orange," Mumford & Son's "I Will Wait," Sleeping at Last's "Saturn" (my favorite space-themed song), and Kane Pixels' "Government Funding" piece of his self-made Backrooms online series & soundtrack! "Album" Examples: The Paper Kite's "Woodland (2011)," Eddie Vedder's album and soundtrack for the movie "Into The Wild," as well as Kane Pixel's 3 albums for his Backrooms series.

Movies

EASY choice: Interstellar (2014). However, FAR more underrated is Ryan Gosling's most underrated performance in a true and VERY historical story: "First Man (2018)" and the struggles of him and his family and between each other of the first man to step foot upon the Moon!

Television

Books

EASY 3 picks. - Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" (life-changing Astronomy read that is explained in a poetic and natural and scientific yet easy-to-digest way.) - Gene Kranz' "Failure is Not an Option" (Flight director of the Apollo 11 mission AKA the first mission to land humans on the Moon. Was involved in NASA from the Mercury missions (1-person flights) to Apollo 14 (post-Apollo 13 "successful failure".) By the way, he is an AMAZING man and has one other good book that is not just about his experience at NASA and as a flight director and the challenges, but rather the team's overall experience and necessary mindsets/goals during the Apollo Era...) - Gene Kranz' "Tough and Competent"
