General

I really like older shit. I went through a time where I collected Furbies, Assassin's Creed figures, and Polaroid instant cameras (controversial take, while the SX-70 creates beautifully nostalgic, grainy images... I really love my 600 film whale body despite the common consensus that it's big and ugly). Right now, I'm into listening to my dad's old CDs on my Walkman, using KidPix on my grape iMac G3 (tangerine iBook... I'm coming for you next, I swear), and playing the video game consoles/handhelds that carried my childhood (my Xbox 360 and my DS). Also, to no surprise, I really like going thrifting. But I can only do all that when I'm *not* horrendously busy with college or working 12-hour shifts at the hospital

Books

Y'know what, I really liked to read when I was a kid. Now I'm too busy to read for my own enjoyment anymore. BUT I will list video games I like/play here instead! L4D/L4D2 (my childhood), Prototype (I only like the first game because how dare they yoink Alex Mercer out of the picture like that), Red Dead Redemption (I'm partial to the first game since I loved watching my older brother play when I was a kid but the second game is a masterpiece too), Devil May Cry (HERES a REALLY controversial take... I really like reboot), Wolfenstein (The New Order is MUAH), Batman Arkham Origins (Roman Sionis save me), WET (love the art style but GOD are the controls a nightmare), Halo (I freaking LOVE CE, got an OG Xbox and fell in love-- 4 is what I grew up with but my tastes have matured and I now recognize the beauty of low poly Master Chief), Life is Strange (not liking what's going on with double exposure... but thats alright!), Minecraft (I miss the zombie pigmen), Animal Crossing (New Leaf)...

Heroes

Kurt Cobain. Maybe he wouldn't like being looked up to like a hero or whatever, but he really was my hero when I was 10-- and still is! All I remember is my stupid ass crying when I got access to the internet one day at school in 5th grade, listening to Nevermind while writing my first argumentative essay (on why cats are better than dogs), and coming to the realization that I couldn't see Nirvana live because their frontman was long deceased before I even existed.
