General

aaaa i have so many interests. my favorite thing not listed here is the game The Binding of Isaac (TBOI). it’s so fun and I spend a lot of time on it. I used to play so many more games, but with school nd all i don’t have as much time :,( 

Instead of gaming, i spend my time listening to muuuusic, watching moooovies, and playing guitar!

Music

I switch my music every month i’d say. I get sick of songs really quick especially if i learn all the lyrics (not sure why lmao) BUT there are some that always have stuck. 

Here’s a list of the ones off the top of my mind that i am obsessed with forever:

 The Get Up Kids, Cursive, Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer, Uffie, Death Cab, Brand New (i know..), The Main Drag, Rilo Kiley, Scanners, Paramore, Circa Survive, Moss Icon, The Anniversary, Dismemberment Plan, Texas is the Reason, Taking Back Sunday, Kind of Like Spitting… And definitely more.

Mainly a lot of 90s emo and indie. if u like the same music as me, i will probably be ur friend forever. Like SERIOUSLY..

my all time favorite song is Love During Wartime by The Main Drag. PLEAZE listen to it!! all can enjoy this song. they’re a small nyc band and the sound is so freaking unique and amazing. 

Movies

I watch a shit ton of movies. 

my favorite genres r thriller, drama, suspense, romance, and comedy. 

and also i didn’t understand david lynch. u didn’t either trust me.

i saw The Roses most recently and DAAMN. as a child of divorce :3 it hit extremely close to home and yes it truly is that complicated. it felt very personal to me.

ANYWHO my favorite movies r very hard to pick but Drunk Punch Love is definitely my top top best. who knew adam sandler could do that? not me. i also LOVEDDDD Closer 2004 and Unfaithful. 

Television

tv shows i don’t watch as much honestly.. my faaaavorite i guess is gossip girl. i know that’s kinda a lame pick but it’s not to me. my girl jenny humphrey had some DAMN GOOD designs. If u kno me, u know how hard i tried to recreate her season 1(i think) plaid grey and pink dress. i couldn’t find a good grey fabric ANYWHEREEE.. 

also agnes andrew’s aka Willa Holland was the best character she’s SOOO FUCKING GORGEOUS. 

i also rlly liked the oc. duh. i cried so hard at the end of every season and also i did NOT find that SNL skit making fun of the imogen heap hide and seek song when marissa shot that guy(forget his name lol it’s been a while) funny. it was not funny it never was. I BAWLED when i watched it. that says what kinda person i am :,))

Books

My favorite kinda books are Literary Fiction and Mystery novels. i can’t pick a favorite book, but ONE of my favorites is Indelicacy by Amina Cain. It was so moving and unforgettable. It made me question my own life. (Also i know a lot of people disagree but Catcher in the Rye was also fucking amazing and i understand Holden. I hate phony people too king.)

I also love Joan Didion. I recently read Play it as it Lays and WOW. It was beautiful. I loved the entire vibe of old Hollywood as well as the tragic wealth of the main character. I’ve read some of her other work and the way she writes is so captivating. I can’t put it down and even when I do, i’m still thinking about it.

Patrick Modiano is another one of my faves. his book Invisible Ink is really cool. It’s all about memory and illusions. Also his book In the Cafe of Lost Youth is a lot more mellow and melancholic. it’s still quite beautiful and more about identity and fate.
