– accidentally taking “naps” that last five hours and ruin my life

– being awake at 4am for no reason but exhausted at 4pm for every reason

– making playlists for events that will never happen (apocalypse road trip? sure)

– rating movies solely on how cool the shadows look

– buying pens i will immediately lose

Music

i listen to everything… except whatever that song is you just played.

favorites rotate weekly  currently stuck between “crying in the shower” indie tracks and songs that sound like they were made by robots learning emotions.

will 100% judge you for saying “i like all music except country,” but will also probably skip country. hypocritical? yes. consistent? also yes.

Movies

mostly horror — the kind where you yell “don’t go in there” but they do anyway.

love anything with bad decisions, creepy sound design, or endings that ruin your night.

will absolutely watch a terrible slasher if the killer has good fashion sense.

Television

mostly shows i “just put on in the background” and then accidentally binge in one sitting.

love anything where the plot makes no sense, but the characters are sarcastic enough to make it work.

true crime? yes. sitcoms i’ve seen a hundred times? also yes.

i will absolutely start a new series knowing full well i’ll never finish it.

Books

mostly the kind that make you feel like the world’s ending — or already has.

favorites: stones in water, lovers in auschwitz, forest of hands and teeth, the last book in the universe, diary of anne frank.

love stories that feel real, hurt a little, and stay in your head long after you close the cover.

if it’s dark, heavy, or just weirdly hopeful, i’m probably reading

Heroes

2000s starfire — because being nice and powerful is apparently a radical concept.

she could save the world, call everyone “friend,” and still look cooler than anyone else on screen.

basically the blueprint: kind without being boring, strong without needing to yell about it.
