Cyrus's Interests

General

โœจ Playing cozy games (Stardew Valley supremacy) ๐ŸŽป Anything orchestra-related โ€” from rehearsals to film scores ๐Ÿงต Crocheting random creatures or unfinished projects ๐Ÿ“– Geeking out over Greek mythology (yes, I do have opinions on Psyche) ๐ŸŽง Making playlists no one asked for ๐ŸŒŒ Quiet nights, good music, and mildly chaotic conversations

Music

๐ŸŽป Orchestra kid for life โ€” give me strings, drama, and a full brass section and Iโ€™m happy. I live for the tension in symphonies and the satisfaction of a perfect resolution. ๐ŸŽง Vivaldi is non-negotiable. His seasons? Iconic. ๐Ÿ–ค Also here for the darker, heavier side โ€” Rammstein when I need intensity, Depeche Mode when I need atmosphere. ๐ŸŽผ I like music that actually feels like something. If it tells a story (or sounds like it could summon a storm), Iโ€™m in. ๐Ÿ’€ Still not over the fact that some people slander Vivaldi. Couldnโ€™t be me.

Movies

๐ŸŽฌ Gladiator is a masterpiece โ€” the music, the drama, the sandals. ๐ŸŽป Iโ€™ll watch anything with a killer score or orchestral undertones. Bonus points if it feels a little mythological or tragic. ๐Ÿฆ– Ice Age and Monsters Inc. live rent-free in my brain. Donโ€™t ask me to explain it. I wonโ€™t. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Iโ€™m a sucker for historical epics, stylized storytelling, and movies that feel like they were made to be studied in a dark room with dramatic lighting. ๐Ÿ’ฅ Chaos and nostalgia can coexist.

Television

๐Ÿ“บ I rotate between intense dramas and comfort shows like itโ€™s a personality trait. โš”๏ธ Mythology-inspired series? Always worth a watch โ€” even if they get it all wrong. ๐ŸŽป Anything with a good score or classical music references gets bonus points. ๐Ÿงถ Occasionally bingeing something while crocheting โ€” itโ€™s called multitasking. ๐Ÿ’ฌ I like shows that either make me feel deeply or make me laugh like an idiot. No in-between. Yes, I probably overanalyze everything I watch. And yes, Iโ€™m fine with that.

Books

๐Ÿ“š Deep into mythology and ancient tales โ€” The Iliad, Hymn to Dionysus, and The Song of Achilles are all staples on my shelf. ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ Iโ€™m also hooked on Zodiac Academy (books one and two) โ€” because who doesnโ€™t love a little magic and mystery mixed with astrology? โœ๏ธ Fantasy and historical fiction are my go-tos, especially if the writing feels as musical as it is epic. ๐Ÿ‰ Always chasing new retellings and interpretations of Greek myths โ€” thereโ€™s just something timeless about those stories. ๐Ÿ“– Classics, myths, or magical worlds โ€” Iโ€™ve got thoughts on them all.

Heroes

โš”๏ธ Hector of Troy โ€” because sometimes the strongest hero is the one who fights not for glory, but for home. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง My mom โ€” the real MVP whoโ€™s shown me what strength and kindness really look like every day. ๐Ÿฉบ Doctors โ€” for the quiet courage, endless patience, and all the lives they save behind the scenes. Heroes come in many forms, and Iโ€™m lucky to know some of the best.

Cyrus's Blurbs

About me:

Iโ€™m into Greek myths, cozy video games, orchestra music, and occasionally turning yarn into something cool. Youโ€™ll usually find me listening to various metal while tending crops in Stardew Valley. I like things that have layers โ€” stories, symphonies, or a well-made craft. โ€œFor every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.โ€ (Poetry or Physics? Probably both...) Be kind, be curious, and whatever you doโ€ฆ donโ€™t diss Vivaldi.
