About me:
Hi!! I'm Jodie, I'm 16, I'm currently studying Further Maths and Computer Science at A-Level and I'm hoping to become a Cryptographer in the future! I'm also auditing a Uni course on Applied Cryptography :] I also play Jazz Bass (And I try to compose as a side-project), and do Fencing as a sport!!! I'm also currently working on a Deltarune fangame, where I focus on programming, gameplay and writing.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone really! Especially if you have interests in jazz or computer science - Those are my two main interests which I stoke a LOT of time into, and I like to talk about them a lot, lol
But always feel free to contact me if you'd like. I'm generally always available, and although slow with messages, I'll always try to respond!!
One thing of note; I try to keep this blog more mature-oriented. I don't post NSFW nor anything of the like, but I don't really engage with meme-culture or joke posts, and my posts end up being quite nerdy, serious, or boring. If you consider yourself more "meme-oriented", I might not be the best fit!

I love your layout, and your interests are so cool! The path you're choosing is exactly the same one I've tried to get into in middle school, considering I've always thought Computer Science would make me seem more intellectual. (I failed the class). |
Thank you!! Your layout is also really cool - I love the cola ad!! Also, I saw Zoolander on your Movies, and I've been meaning to watch it!! A teacher I had in English would show us "model paragraphs" for essays, and would always use an image from Zoolander to signal how he's showing us a "model". I really want to watch it!!
But it's a really fun discipline! I know Python already, and have dabbled in like, PHP, but right now I'm learning Rust. It's a vibe!! Cryptography is also just generally really cool. Fascinating subject!!!!
I get what you mean with Computer Science making you seem smart, I think thats why I got into it when I was younger

Thank you so much, and I would highly suggest watching Zoolander. It's such a great movie, that's why it's considered a classic by many. Your English teacher sounds awesome for using Zoolander in a way that could benefit both him and his students. I wish my teachers were as whimsical as he is.

Oh, my grapes. You sound like a genius right now. So much so, that I have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps Computer Science *wasn't* made for me. I'm glad I backed out of the class before I could've gone down a route I would've regret. It seems to be working out for you! You're cool *and* intelligent.

I'll watch Zoolander soon and message you about it!!! It'll be fire.
Thank you for the complements! I get the frustration with Comp Sci lol, I'm mainly writing about programming languages here. But Comp Sci is definitely a niche discipline that isn't for everyone; Most of my friends are taking Arts and Humanities, which is really cool, but they all HATE Maths and CS, so it's tough to talk about my subjects with them. It's a fun discipline if you jive with that specific way of thinking though!!

You're welcome! I'm glad you're passionate about Computer Science. There are not many who enjoy their choices. In my opinion, math's is a fun subject to learn, but I can also understand why others wouldn't like it. I just love busying myself and challenging my brain, especially considering that nowadays it's a lot easier to limit yourself of what you can do simply because you believe you wouldn't be able to do 'it.'
And yesss, lmk when you see the movie! I'd love to know what you think about it. :)
