General |
At some point I accidentally became a photographer. Recently I decided to go back to basics on drawing. It's refreshing! One day I'd like to take up the piano and get melancholic up in here! I'm also replaying the American McGee Alice games, which has brought me down a rabbit hole (no pun intended) of the other classic horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. I'm excited to play them! I'm also replaying the Tomb Raider series. My favorite time periods are the Renaissance, Victorian/Edwardian eras, the Roaring Twenties, Great Depression, and the British Invasion. |

Music |
I'm all over the place, though I'm especially partial to the 1920s-1960s. I've been bleeding into goth territory lately and have decided to make it everyone else's problem! Piano and cello are my favorite instruments! Paul is my favorite Beatle but John is the most interesting. I just discovered Jack Off Jill and it's slowly becoming a favorite! |

Movies |
I love movies so I'll just list the ones I've been thinking about a lot lately: Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Mike Myers movies, Adam Sandler movies, 90s/2000s romcoms, The Apartment (1960), Mallrats (1995). Revisiting a lot movies that came out around the time I grew up. They feel just out-of-reach. |
|
Television |
Recurring favorites: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Malcolm in the Middle, Supernatural, Married With Children, The Sopranos, Better Call Saul. Spongebob is a given. Lately I've been trying to finish Frasier and rewatch My Name Is Earl. Soon I want to watch the MTV animated shows and maybe Gilmore Girls. |
|
Books |
I'm on a mission to be as annoying a reader as possible, revisitng and discovering the classics for myself. Currently reading F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Beautiful and Damned. Just finished Frankenstein. I was shocked at how much it differed from the movie but I loved it! |
|
Heroes |
George Lucas, John Hughes, Leonardo da Vinci, George Carlin, Doug Stanhope, Amelia Earhart, Lotte Reiniger, Mike Myers. |
