General

My main interests tend to be making music, playing video games, and streaming.

Music

I love hip hop, jazz, vaporwave, rock, and so on. I'm just a lover of music overall due to how powerful of a tool it can act for change and for healing.

Movies

Some of my favorite movies, at the moment, have been Mirror, directed by Andrei Tarkovsky, The Great Dictator, directed by Charlie Chaplin, 8 1/2, directed by Federico Fellini, Tokyo Story, directed by Yasujirō Ozu. and Blowout, directed by Brian de Palma.

Television

I think my favorite television shows, in the past, have been Arrested Development, Schitt's Creek, Everybody Loves Raymond, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. However, if we're going in the realm of animated TV shows, my favorites have been Cowboy Bebop, My Little Pony, Archer, and Black Lagoon.

Books

Truth be told, I haven't read a ton of books. However, one of my favorite books that's focused on music is mainly Our Band Could be Your Life by Michael Azerrad which mainly focuses on 13 bands how punk rock has changed each band's life. Another favorite of mine, which left me on the edge of my seat, is 1984 by George Orwell and, in a sadly poetic way, a lot of the themes 1984 touches on are all becoming reality. Such as the dangers of reducing people's vocabulary in the English language, living under a surveillance state, and having control over what news stories the public gets to read about. This book is a warning, not an instruction manual.

Heroes

I've had a lot of heroes in my life and, while I do see myself looking up to them and wishing I was able to meet one or the other, I ultimately came to the conclusion that there's no point in having heroes. Simply because there will only ever be one YOU in this lifetime.
