I’m obsessed with dreamy movies that feel like a warm hug or a soft heartbreak. Studio Ghibli is everything to me — ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, ‘Whisper of the Heart’, ‘Spirited Away’... literal comfort films. I also live for shoujo anime that makes me cry over fictional love stories like I’m in them. Give me slow pacing, pretty animation, quiet feelings, and soft soundtracks, and I’m yours

Television

Okay so, not gonna lie, I’m lowkey obsessed with cute, wholesome shows. Like, give me all the soft vibes, pastel colors, slow-burn romance, and characters who just wanna hug their crush and cry about it —I eat that up. 

Honestly, I don’t care if it’s anime or live-action, as long as it makes my heart go “Awwww” every five minutes, I’m in. Shows like Heartstopper, Fruits Basket, or even My Little Pony? Yup, peak comfort content. I’ll be out here binge-watching, fully wrapped in a blanket, crying over fictional characters who just held hands.

People are like, “Aren’t you too old for that stuff?” and I’m like— “Let people enjoy things?? ”Like, sorry I prefer serotonin over jump scares and chaos.

Plus, the vibes? Immaculate. The life lessons? Surprisingly deep. And the aesthetic? Chef’s kiss.

So yeah, if it’s soft, emotional, slightly dramatic but ends on a happy note—that’s my jam.

Books

Okay so like... I'm literally obsessed with anything that gives off soft shoujo energy. Like, give me two awkward teens falling in love in the most dramatic, slow-burn way possible and I’m hooked. I live for that "accidental hand touch" scene, or when the guy acts all cold but secretly buys her favorite snack? Stop. I’m dead.

Mangas like Ao Haru Ride, Kimi ni Todoke, or Yona of the Dawn? Top tier. And don’t even get me started on books—if it’s got pining, love letters, or fake dating? I'm in. I basically want my heart broken and mended again in under 300 pages.

It’s not just romance, it's emotional damage and I'm here for it.

Heroes

Not to be dramatic, but Gojo Satoru is literally my emotional support anime character. Like, he’s not just a fictional man—he’s THE man. The blindfold? The attitude? The overwhelming power? Yeah, that’s my hero. My comfort character. My whole personality, honestly.

And when he… you know… "that episode?" I was NOT okay. I paused the screen, stared at the wall, and questioned everything. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I still randomly remember it and get emotional like it just happened. It felt personal, like someone snatched the sun out of the sky.

Gojo didn’t just fight curses. He carried my soul, my expectations, my mental health. And the world just… took him from us? Unforgivable. But no matter what, he’ll always be that iconic king in my heart. Forever untouchable.  :cc
