General

I’m quite academic and interested mainly in maths and computer science. I tend to keep quiet about these things but I would love to learn from you.

I like to contribute to online projects - particularly non-profits like openstreetmap and wikipedia, but also some music websites like genius.

Music

It varies a lot. The common thread is that most of my taste comes from rateyourmusic. I like to give and receive recommendations but I tend to be reserved about the particular feelings I have about music.

Movies

I rarely watch movies nowadays. If a question is of the form “Have you watched X?” then the answer is likely no. I liked The Social Network.

Television

I haven’t watched a TV show in years. I’m quite attached to cartoons I used to watch like Phineas & Ferb and Gravity Falls; I’m glad that the internet has accepted these as being as great as they are.

Books

I’m very slow at reading books. Right now I’m reading Little Women. My favourite book is Infinite Jest, which took me eleven months to read.

Heroes

There’s no person who I look up to in their entirety. Earlier today I read the Wikipedia page “Necessity in English criminal law” and now I admire lawyers.
