Movies

It’s gonna be pretty hard for me to only pick two big ones for me, but i’ll try my best to keep this short so I don’t do an accidental lore drop. (BTW THIS ISN'T IN ORDER!!) To start off, let’s go with Mysterious Skin, it is such a differently good kind of movie; with the disturbing nature of how CSA (childhood sexual abuse) victims are portrayed especially in men. Bradly being shown as in partial denial, semi-forgetting his traumatic past and depicting it in an extra terrestrial sense. While Joseph was fully aware; even being shown as hyper sexual throughout the movie. Next would have to be Wolf Children, I truly can’t express how much this movie impacted me. Showing the perspective of a single mother and how complex it can be to handle two children alone. Following with a more lively daughter, Yuki and her shy, more reserved son, Ame. Overall it’s an adorable movie to show kids who were more sheltered than other children they’re around yet both spreading their wings in two healthy ways.
