I don't subscribe to a specific genre of music, I'll listen to just about anything if I like the sound of it.

Movies

I've really taken an interest in Japanese cinema, I can't explain why but I just fell in love with it. Akira Kurosawa is my all time favorite director ever, he is the greatest auteur to ever live. His films are very profound, and I was very moved by them when I first watched his films. Masaki Kobayashi is probably my second favorite director, The Human Condition is the greatest film trilogy. Other Japanese directors I need to watch are Yasujirō Ozu and Mikio Naruse. But outside of Japan, there are a lot of other foreign international films I have to watch. I really like Jean-Luc Godard's radical and gritty unconventional filmmaking style.

Television

Not a fan of most TV shows but I really enjoyed The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. I plan on watching Twin Peaks sometime in the future. Some anime I like are: Nana, Monster, Golden Kamuy, Berserk.

Books
