anything where nothing really happens but somehow makes you cry anyway. i like films that make you sit in silence when they’re over. the kind that doesnt explain themselves. werid, slow, and kind of depressing. indie stuff, sad stuff, stuff that leaves you feeling like you missed something, on purpose. favorites? donnie darko, obviously virgin suicides, aesthetic pain eternal sunshine, dont talk to me about the ending. lost in translation, lonely people being lonely thirteen, no explanation needed also anything by sofia coppola, david lynch or that one director with the french name i can never pronounce. |

i dont really “watch tv”, i experience w motional destruction via function characters and call it relaxation. shows where everyone is sad, nothing get resolved, and the color grading is mostly blue. bonus points if it gets canceled after one perfect season. favorites? skins(uk), but only gen 1 and 2 obviously my so-called life, yes im still mad it ended bojack horseman, too real freaks and geeks, painfully accurate euphoria, not for the glitter or the chaos twin peaks, no explanation neededdddd reality tv? only when im spiraling. sitcoms? only the ones where everyone is deeply broken but pretending they’re fine… so like.. fleabag. |
