General

Hi! I’m 17, from Colombia—and two of my favorite ways to escape the world are music and gaming. They’re completely different, but both make me feel like I’m somewhere else for a little while, and sometimes that’s exactly what I need. I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. It’s always playing in the background of my life—when I’m walking, thinking, or even gaming. I’m into all kinds of sounds, from Latin beats like reggaetón and cumbia to chill indie tracks and emotional songs that just get me. I’m constantly making playlists, finding new songs, and sharing them with friends (even if they didn’t ask, haha). Then there’s gaming. I wouldn’t say I’m a hardcore gamer, but I definitely lose track of time when I play. I love story-driven games that pull you in—where you get attached to the characters and actually care what happens next. But I also enjoy fun, chaotic games where I can just vibe and laugh with friends. Whether it's exploring open worlds, leveling up, or just hanging out in a virtual space, gaming helps me relax and feel connected. Music and games are kind of my comfort zones. They give me space to feel things, challenge myself, and just be me. I don’t know exactly where life is heading, but I do know these passions will always be part of it.

Music

If there’s one thing I could talk about for hours, it’s music. It’s seriously such a big part of my life—whether I’m walking to school, doing homework, or just lying in bed overthinking everything (as usual), there’s always a song playing in the background. My music taste is kind of all over the place, but I love it that way. I grew up with Latin music—reggaetón, salsa, vallenato—it’s in my blood. But I also love discovering new sounds, whether it’s chill indie, emotional R&B, or even random songs I find at 2AM that somehow describe exactly how I’m feeling. I’m always making playlists for different moods, moments, or people in my life. It’s how I express myself when words don’t work. I don’t play any instruments yet, but I’ve always wanted to learn guitar or piano—just something to help me turn my emotions into sound. Music just makes me feel more connected—to myself, to the world, and sometimes to people I’ve never even met. It’s like my little escape and my safe space, all in one.

Movies

I’m one of those people who gets way too attached to movies. Like, I’ll watch something and be thinking about it for days—sometimes even quoting it in random conversations no one understands (except my best friend, who gets me). I love all kinds of films, but especially the ones that make you feel something real. Coming-of-age stories, indie films with beautiful soundtracks, anything that makes me cry a little or think a lot—I’m in. Movies like Lady Bird, Call Me by Your Name, or even something nostalgic like The Perks of Being a Wallflower—they just hit. But don’t get me wrong, I also love a good laugh. Romantic comedies, old Disney classics, or anything with a chaotic but lovable main character always have a place on my watchlist. Sometimes I rewatch movies just for the vibe or a favorite scene. What I love most is how movies can say things I’ve felt but never had words for. They remind me that it’s okay to feel deeply, to grow, to mess up, and to keep going. Watching a movie I love is like talking to an old friend—it just feels right.
