BlueJay's Interests
|
General |
Writing—fanfiction, poetry, and the occasional original piece that spirals out of control
Reading manga with morally gray characters and emotionally devastating plots
Exploring themes of identity, grief, revenge, and hope through storytelling
Late-night brainstorming sessions that turn into accidental all-nighters
Creating overly specific playlists for characters who don't exist
Worldbuilding entire universes just to set them on fire
Ranting about character arcs like it’s a personal mission
Getting lost in AO3 tags and pretending it's research
Collecting half-filled notebooks and chasing that perfect opening line

Music |
I listen to the kind of music that makes you wanna punch a wall, cry in the shower, or main character walk down the street like it’s the end of the world. Basically, if it sounds like teen angst with a killer beat, I’m into it.
Linkin Park will forever be peak. Green Day is the blueprint. Papa Roach? Screaming therapy. Foo Fighters, Bush, 3 Doors Down—all permanent residents in my emotional support playlist.
Tyler the Creator’s stuff hits in a weird, chaotic genius way. ICP? Yeah, I’ve got a few of their tracks on rotation. And yes, I listen to Nickelback. Fight me.
My playlists are kind of a mess but in a “this is who I am” way. Loud, emotional, dramatic—just how I like it.

Movies |
I don’t watch a ton of movies these days, but when I do… it’s the kind that completely emotionally destroys me. Wolf Children? Yes, I cried. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish? Cried. A Silent Voice? Cried. Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms? I didn’t cry—I died. I apparently have a thing for beautifully animated films that rip your heart out, stomp on it, and then leave you sitting in the dark questioning your entire life. If the movie doesn’t emotionally shatter me, what’s the point? |
|
Television |
I watch… a lot of stuff. Probably too much.
Dexter? Yeah, I’m into it.
MHA? Of course, I’m watching it.
SAO? I liked it. Don’t come for me.
Honestly, if it’s out and people are talking about it, I’m probably watching it or it’s sitting in my queue while I pretend I have time.
Currently nervous-excited about The Beginning After the End. I want it to be good so bad, but Studio A-Cat has me side-eyeing everything. Like please, just this once, don’t mess it up.

Books |
I’ve read so many books at this point that I honestly can’t remember all their names—but the impact? Oh, it’s there. I’ve got a ton of favorites, including some that aren’t even published. Yeah. Someone once gave me their book personally and never released it. I still think about that. Felt like a royal noble being handed a secret scroll or something. I read basically everything. No, seriously—everything. Slow burn romance? I’m hooked. Dark, gritty psychological thrillers? Feed it to me. High fantasy epics, messy character dramas, tragic endings that leave you staring at the ceiling? Absolutely. If it has strong emotions, questionable choices, or a character I can overanalyze for hours, I’m in. Books are kind of my thing. |
|
Heroes |
I know this is usually the part where people list celebrities or influencers or whatever, but honestly? That’s never really been my thing. My hero is my mom. She raised me to be a good person, to help others—even when I don’t like them, even when there’s nothing in it for me. I know that sounds a little wild in today’s world, but I genuinely believe we need more people like that. People who help just to help. Maybe a few authors too. The ones who made me feel something real, who created characters that stuck with me. That kind of impact? Yeah, that’s heroic in its own way. |
BlueJay's Blurbs
About me:
Heya~ I’m a huge manga lover with a soft spot for dark stories and chaotic characters. Some of my favorites are Attack on Titan, Berserk, The Promised Neverland, My Hero Academia, Sakamoto Days, Apothecary Diaries, and Sword Art Online. I’m a writer—mostly fanfiction and poetry, but I dip into original stuff when inspiration hits. My writing tends to lean emotional, a little intense, and sometimes a bit unhinged (in the best way). If you’re into fictional pain, morally gray characters, or deep storylines that make you question everything, we’ll probably get along. Let's be mutuals! 🖤
Who I'd like to meet:
Fellow writers who get weirdly emotional over their own characters. Readers who love fanfiction like it’s a lifeline. People who can rant with me about manga plot twists at 3AM. Anyone who’s ever cried over Berserk or screamed during a Promised Neverland chapter. Poets, dreamers, overthinkers, and chaos enthusiasts. Also, fictional characters who have no business being that hot or that tragic. You know who you are.
