I really like folk and jazz. I tend to listen to older music on my cd player, I can't stand ads on Spotify or Soundcloud I'm so sorry. I get most of my music from estate sales, thrift stores, or people just giving me their old cd's. If I can't find an album or song at the store I burn them onto cd's from YouTube, I know its pirating but I really don't give a shit, who ever owns YouTube can hunt me down and kill me I fucking dare you. some of my favourite songs right now are: Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo by Etta Jones / Moonlight In Vermont by Ernestine Anderson / Your Love Is King by Sade / Roll Muddy River by The Osborne Brothers

I usually only watch tv when I’m doing dishes. And to make things worse I only watch old shows like three is company or little house on the prairie. Im so out of touch it’s not even funny.

Books

I love blood meridian so much, I know it's a 'dude bro' book, like the kinda shit your sweaty ex would read in-between league matches and punching walls, but trust me bro, it's so good! It's a painful read, it's so racist and long winded, and just so wrong on so many different levels, but somehow it manages to keep you glued, like watching a car crash or something just as horrible. The way it's written makes you feel like you're going crazy alongside the characters. And I love that! It's like if you mix silence of the lambs with Holes and graffiti from a back alley then crank that soulja boy up to 100 you'd have blood meridian. I also love horror!! The spooky books I read are almost all second hand so I never really know what I'm getting into before I read them. They can be super shitty worn out paperbacks from the early 60s, or something fun and goofy like goosebumps / fear street, or something that genuinely scares the bejesus out of me. I dunno it's fun! It's like extra spooky when it smells like old books and you're reading alone at night ya know? Also Band of brothers is a really good nonfiction book, but it's very sad. Anything about WWII I eat up, like magazines and movies, I don't know I'v been obsessed with it since I was a kid. But going from thirsting over the actors in the Band of brothers HBO miniseries to reading the real ass accounts from the real ass solders was the craziest whiplash iv ever experienced. Admitting that is so fucked up and disrespectful but I'm being so honest, its such a different experience reading about the bloody and real accounts of war than it is watching Ron Livingston in cunty green fatigues sashay his way through WWII.
