Movies

I honestly have always preferred anime/animated movies. My favorites being Josee the Tiger and The Fish which in all honesty is a better paced A Silent Voice which is one of my other favorite movies, because I'm a sucker for light romance and built friendships. But the pacing of A Silent Voice is much better in the manga and theres a whole section the story cut out in the movie along with it not using the mangas actual ending, so you should read it.

Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop is another anime movie I thoroughly enjoyed outside of the goofy and terrible 3d animation, which I don't blame the studio for because the 2d animation looks so nice.

And my final favorite I'll say is Princess Mononoke which is my favorite studio Ghibli film and I'm happy about the enhanced theater release coming out.

Just like with Movies I've always been a sucker for animation, so my favorite shows are split between animes and cartoons. But I'll just put them in their own top 5's.
