Movies

I mostly watch Japanese, American, English, and Russian movies, and I’m a sucker for oldies. My favourite genres are psychological, though an occasional romcom, adventure, or tearjerker is good. I wanted to watch Italian horror movies, because I heard they’re not as scary as others… yeah, I can’t really handle actual horror LOL 🥲 (also me watching Perfect Blue and not batting an eye:)

All-Time Favourites:

  • Call Me By Your Name (2017)(it’s hard to believe this came out when I was seven…)
  • Moon Child (2003)
  • Ghibli movies (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the Sky, My Neighbour Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Whisper of the Heart, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, When Marnie Was There, The Boy and the Heron)
  • Coraline (2009)
  • Perfect Blue (1997)
  • The End of Evangelion (1997)

Television

I mostly watch cartoons and anime…

Some of my biggest favourites

  • Black Butler (2008)
  • Avatar: the Last Airbender (2005)
  • Patalliro! (1982)
  • Fruits Basket (both versions)
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995)
  • Moomin (1990)
  • Other really good animes; I watched a lot, so I can’t put everything here, unfortunately…

Books

I usually read either classics or manga, the only exception being Call Me By Your Name (2007). My favourite author as of right now is Osamu Dazai, my first work by him being Schoolgirl (1939), which I read in the summer of 2024. I also like children’s books to some degree, the ones that make you think, like the Moomin books. Harry Potter is also a really good book series, though I wish Harry died at the end, it would’ve wrapped up the theme of death that was so prominent in the story more nicely instead of Harry having plot armour…

I also love the Tokyo Ghoul manga! I finished it right before 2024 on a manga website, and later my friend got me a box set of the first part! Still waiting for :re… I’ll ask him for it for my birthday again… but yeah, classics or manga, LOL.

Heroes

I don’t really know what they mean by this, I assume I put people I admire..? Well, that would be my family to some extent, obviously. I’m not very in on celebrity culture, but I do find Gackt and Timotheé Chalamet very attractive. As for girls, I think Rei Yuzuka is very gorgeous.

About me:

An unimportant fragment of the universe, which also exists for whatever reason. Despite this, I want to be happy.

And I have two cats.

And I’m studying Wicca; hoping to be a witch.

Who I'd like to meet:

How do I answer this? My future partner or something? My friends? I don’t know…
