Obscura's Interests

General

Watching people struggle to figure me out (free entertainment). Subtle chaos, mind games, and perfectly timed vanishing acts. Tracking patterns—movements, words, behaviors… yeah, I see you. Late-night overthinking sessions that lead to random existential crises. Shadows, secrets, and things better left unsaid. Finding loopholes and bending rules just enough to make people question reality. Being just the right amount of sus to keep things interesting—because normal is boring

Music

Tracks that hit different at 3 AM. Lyrics with double meanings—because why settle for just one? J-Pop, K-Pop, and anything with a vibe that lingers. Beabadoobee when I’m feeling mellow, aespa when I wanna feel untouchable. Songs that make me feel like the main character… or the villain. Playlists that shift from “chill and mysterious” to “chaotic energy” with no warning. Anything that makes me nod like I know something you don’t.

Movies

Psychological thrillers that make me question everything. Anything with mind games, plot twists, or unreliable narrators. Films where the villain is actually right (or at least interesting). Dark aesthetics, eerie soundtracks, and lingering tension. The kind of movies that leave you sitting in silence after the credits roll. Bonus points if there’s a mysterious character lurking in the background the whole time. Oh, and horror? Yeah, but only the kind that messes with your head, not just cheap jumpscares

Television

Shows where no one is who they seem. Mind-bending plots that make me pause just to process. Characters with hidden agendas—bonus points if they’re sarcastic. Psychological drama, mystery, and a bit of chaos. Slow-burn tension that keeps me hooked. The kind of series where every detail matters, and if you blink, you miss something big. Anything that makes me side-eye the screen like, "Oh, you thought I wouldn’t notice that?"

Books

Stories where the protagonist might not be the hero. Unreliable narrators—because truth is overrated. Dark fantasy, mystery, and anything with an eerie vibe. Books that leave more questions than answers (because why make it easy?). Subtle foreshadowing that makes me go "Ohhh, I see what you did there." Anything with morally gray characters—bonus points if they make me question my own judgment. Plot twists that hit so hard, I have to close the book and just stare.

Heroes

The ones who aren’t all sunshine and virtue flawed, messy, and unpredictable. Anti-heroes who do the right thing… but in the wrong way. Characters who don’t explain themselves but still get the job done. Those who operate in the shadows, unseen but felt. The ones who play the long game, thinking five steps ahead while everyone else is still on step one. Heroes who aren’t afraid to break the rules—because sometimes, rules are just suggestions. If they’re a little unhinged but still get results, yeah, that’s my type.

Obscura's Blurbs

About me:

Drifting through the digital ether, I observe more than I speak. A quiet presence with sharp insights, I prefer to stay in the background—until something interesting happens. Mystery fuels my curiosity, and I have a habit of leaving conversations with more questions than answers.

Who I'd like to meet:

Oh, you wanna know? Suspicious. But alright, I’ll bite. I like people who can keep up—those who don’t ask too many questions but somehow already know the answers. The ones who don’t just talk but actually say something. If you’re quick-witted, a little chaotic, and maybe just as sus as me, we might get along But hey, if you’re boring, I’ll probably disappear before you even realize I was here
